yo, keep trying! :)

Hello Polarus, don't know if you remember me. :)

I somehow ended up at your page and started listening to this song.

Looks like your trying to learn how to do a rolling bassline. Kudo's to you! You're going to need to master that if you want to make nice uplifting trance. But, I didn't like your rolling bassline. Feels too plain, keep working on it. I spent months trying to master it. Make sure you eq it and find the right instrument for it. (Nexus has plenty!)

I liked your pad and that arped sequencing pad.

Keep up the good work. I can help you with the rolling bassline if you want. Listen to my song "Creative Beauty", you might learn a thing or two! :)

Have a nice day!

Hey XeroQ! Yes, I do remember you... and yeah I tried to experiment with a rolling bassline. I knew it was too plain, but I didn't know what to do to make it sound good. Thank you for your suggestions on the rolling bassline! I really do appreciate your input.

I also thank you for your compliments on my pad, as I have worked on it for many nights. I will also listen to "Creative Beauty"

Thanks again for your review and suggestions, I greatly appreciate it! I look forward to your future tracks :)

Awesome.

I love this. Has both trance and house mixed together although a bit short.

Also, that pluck that you used in the beginning, can you tell me how u made that sound?

- Which vst?
- Instrument?
- FX's used?

Thanks,

- XeroQ

KrisSumara responds:

That information is secret :P

really love that violin

Yo, this overall was nice. It had good melodies and I fell in love with that violin.

Just one question,

how did you create that violin sound? vst? sample? program?

SqueezyLemon responds:

Thanks alot! I like the violin too. I didnt mqke the sound its a sample....D:
Glad you liked it. Can you tell people to see it too?

CARNIVAL!

Sounds like I'm at the carnival with mario rides! :D

Really good stuff you have here. I love it, very uplifting. Sounds pro too!

I hope to hear the full version from you.

Also, you just found a new fan!

Keep at it!

p.s. I can't find anything wrong with the track, just keep adding and make it around 6 - 8 minutes.

MrAw3s0me responds:

good stuff here

Hello, this is some good stuff that you have got here. It looks like you are trying very hard to master the art of trance. ;)

Anyways, i have some tips for you that might help you get better. These tips helped me and i hope they do the same for you!

First, I recommend you listen to a lot of trance. Every night I always fall asleep listening to trance. I've noticed that when you listen to trance, you actually do fall in a trance. Your song did not put me in a trance meaning you have a long way to go! :P

I recommend you listen to some Daniel Kandi, Oceanlab, Tiesto, Armin Van Buuren, and Ferry Corsten. There are lots more, but these are just for starters. (p.s. I'm into uplifting trance ;))

Next, download some trance midi's and study them. It looks like you are already doing that. Keep it up, you will eventually get better. Keep experimenting, watch tutorials, and one day you will become a pro. ;)

Last, NEVER GIVE UP! Just keep trying, find inspiration, and set a goal.

Good luck to you in the future! :D

TO PLAYLIST.COM!

Not bad.

It was pretty good. I liked the melodies and bass wasnt half bad.

A few things you should fix up.

1. You need to master this song. The volumes are all over the place.
2. Some parts sound all distorted. (maybe due to the high volume levels?)

Your getting there. Keep up the good work!

Deathkavaderva responds:

fair points you have there. thanks for the comments

why is the score so bad?

This song is awesome. I don't see why it's rated so badly. Deserve's a 4+!

Keep at this dude, i'll favorite it ;).

Yust responds:

Thanks :)

darn good.

man this is really good. it reminds me of good ol snes rpg days. man i love it! favorited :)
can't see anything i dont dislike.
keep up the good work.

Compaq272 responds:

Wow. Thank you! Correction to what I said. The SNES came out while Ranma 1/2 was on TV lol. Ranma 1/2 ran until 1992 and the SNES was 1990. Right around the time of season 3. And I think you mean you can't see anything you dislike. Not anything you don't dislike.

Daymn, this is a good piece.

Man this was really good. I love this kind of trance. Any chance that you can teach me a little? haha

Anyways, I loved the pads/chords and bass. mind telling me what vst's you used for them? (just curious, cuz i use sylenth1 for my bass) Very good melodies and overall it was awesome and never gets boring. hope to hear from u soon!

Kazmo responds:

I just use 3xOsc, and a Steinway piano soundfont.

Thanks, I'm glad you loved it!
